Weekend Covid violations lead to thousands of euros in fines

Fines amounting to 358,650 euros were imposed between Friday and Sunday and the operation of 55 companies was suspended by relevant authorities for violations of Covid safety protocols.
A total of 541,018 inspections were conducted with 6,004 violations recorded.
The Hellenic Police (ELAS) conducted the bulk of checks (329,662).
