Labor bill approved in principle at committee level in parliament

The Labor Ministry’s omnibus bill was approved in principle during a discussion at committee level in Parliament on Wednesday.
The bill was approved by ruling New Democracy, while main opposition SYRIZA, Movement for Change (KINAL), the Communist Party of Greece and MeRA25 voted against it. Greek Solution party reserved judgment.
The labor bill will next be discussed and voted during an upcoming plenary session.
