4.4-magnitude tremor recorded off Nisyros

Α tremor measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale was recorded on Tuesday morning south of Nisyros island in the Aegean Sea, according to a preliminary reading of the Geodynamics Institute of the Athens National Observatory.

The quake, recorded at 8.09 a.m., was located in the sea 16 km south of the island. No damages were reported.
