Sleepy burglar arrested
A burglar was literally caught napping when he fell asleep in the home of a woman in Thessaloniki which he broke into.
More specifically the 23-year-old perpetrator, a Moroccan national, entered the women’s home in the district of Stavroupoli on Saturday night while she was sleeping and decided to also take a nap in her living room.
When she woke up in the morning she found the man in a deep slumber on her couch and notified the police, who arrived shortly after and arrested him. He was carrying a knife and a small quantity of marijuana.
