Swedish national detained on European arrest warrant
A 41-year-old foreign national was detained in Velo, Corinth on Wednesday on a European arrest warrant that was pending against him.
According to police, the arrest warrant had been issued by Swedish authorities for financial crimes committed during the period from March 28, 2014 to April 29, 2015 in Stockholm.
The suspect was scheduled to appear before a prosecutor in Nafplio.
