Tinos islanders tilt at wind turbine plan
Residents and local officials on Tinos protest in Hora, the capital of the Aegean island, Friday against plans to install wind turbines near the northwestern settlement of Ysternia. Businesses and public services remained closed Friday as hundreds of people took part in the rally, carrying banners and chanting slogans against the wind energy project over the environmental impact its construction would entail.
