Remains of unburied WWII soldiers to be identified
The Foreign Ministry on Monday welcomed measures by Albania to disinter and identify the remains of some 8,000 Greek soldiers who lost their lives in the neighboring country during WWII – “the last unburied fallen of the Second World War.” It lauded Tirana for its response to “this historically just request, which shows that dialogue and cooperation in a constructive and open-minded spirit can lead to the resolution of differences.” [ANA-MPA]
