Greek President visits Serbia
Greece President Prokopis Pavlopoulos (l) and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic (r) are seen during a press conference after their meeting in Belgrade, Serbia, Tuesday. Pavlopoulos is on an official visit to Serbia with an agenda to tighten the relations between the two countries. In an interview with the country’s Politika newspaper published earlier in the day, Pavlopoulos made reference to the ongoing name dispute with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), warning Skopje that it is putting its country’s European Union ambitions at risk by challenging member states’ borders. He sent a similar message to Albania. [Koca Sulejmanovic/EPA]
