Migrant pressure continues on border
A Greek police truck crosses a river during a patrol at the Greek border with Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia near the northern Greek border station of Idomeni, on Monday. Despite FYROM's construction of a fence, dozens of people try to sneak across the border every day, hoping to make their way to Europe's prosperous heartland. Police have been detaining about 50 people daily, and arresting members of smuggling gangs that promise to get migrants to their destinations. About 60,000 refugees and other migrants are trapped in financially-struggling Greece. [Giannis Papanikos/AP]
