Divers survey trash removed from the seabed off Tolo
A team of volunteers from the Loutraki Divers group and members of Neptune’s Army of Rubbish Cleaners (NARC) from Wales on Thursday cleaned the seabed off the coast of Tolo, in Argolida in the Peloponnese. Both groups have several years of experience in underwater litter collecting and in the safe removal of heavy objects from the seabed. Since it started out in 2005, NARC has carried out more than 100 underwater cleanups. Litter found on dives include cell phones, shopping trolleys, bicycles and even kitchen sinks, NARC says on its website.
