PM goes man to man with basketball legend at Maximos Mansion
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is seen spinning a basketball on his finger during a meeting with Greek basketball legend Nikos Galis at the Maximos Mansion in the capital Tuesday. Following a government decision last month, the Olympic Sports Hall in northern Athens, which is home to the Panathinaikos and AEK basketball clubs, will be renamed the Nikos Galis Stadium. Born in New Jersey in 1957, the gravity-defying playmaker led the Greek national team to glory in 1987, winning its first European Championship on home turf.
