Child refugees, mostly from Syria and Afghanistan, who live at the Elaionas and Schisto reception facilities were on Monday given a guided tour of the Acropolis in Athens by Greek Culture Minister Aristides Baltas. Around 100 refugees were shown around the ancient site before visiting the adjacent Acropolis Museum. The visit was designed to raise public awareness about the ongoing refugee crisis.
