Stocks end week off 0.67 percent
Greek stocks fell 0.67 percent yesterday on across-the-board losses with small-cap shares underperforming. The bourse’s benchmark general index ended at 3,110.57 points after dipping to an intra-session low of 3,084 points. The blue chip FTSE/ATHEX 20 index dropped by 0.47 percent to 1,708.64 points. The small-cap FTSE/ATHEX 80 index shed 1.19 percent. Among the worst blue chip performers for the day was Eurobank, which fell 2.0 percent to 12.76 euros, as global equity sentiment in financial institutions remains weak. Former state monopoly OTE telecom lost 1.35 percent to end the session at 14.62 euros. Turnover was 230.9 million euros versus 255 million in the previous session.
