Green Design Festival starts in Athens
Technology and art have united in Syntagma Square in central Athens to help promote more environmental practices in an exhibition that started on Wednesday and runs through to October 1. Called the Green Design Festival, the festival is organized by non-government agency Brainlab under the auspices of the City of Athens. ‘In harnessing the power and value of art, all of the festival’s activities contribute to our efforts to promote sustainable development and the protection of our urban environment, while also prompting us to consider new ways of conducting our daily lives,’ said Deputy Mayor for Waste Management and the Environment Giorgos Dimopoulos.
