Blue chips stay up in correction
Most stocks posted a correction yesterday after Monday’s meteoric rise, but blue chips remained afloat thanks to a late surge by Public Power Corporation (PPC), keeping the main index at the same levels. By contrast, Motor Oil declined by 2.84 percent, Hellenic Postbank lost 2.68 percent to close at a record low and Hellenic Petroleum dropped by 2.45 percent. Turnover reached 215.4 million euros.
