Traditional products show opens
The preserves pictured are included in the first panhellenic exhibition of traditional products by women’s cooperatives which opened yesterday at Athens’s Zappeion Hall. Open until today, the event has been organized by the Agricultural Development Ministry. Minister Alexandros Kontos said yesterday that his immediate priority is to support women’s cooperatives through the promotion of their products on the market. He also referred to a project for the improvement of quality of life in the countryside, offering special incentives for women to enter the labor market through new initiatives in tourism and the production of crafts.
