Main opposition PASOK’s Anna Diamantopoulou, who heads the party’s team on development issues, yesterday urged Hellenic Bank Association’s Chairman Takis Arapoglou to take notice of the 70 percent growth in consumer loans over the last two years. She said banks needed to rethink their lending rates policy, particularly as regards consumer loans, and that the legislation protecting consumers needs a comprehensive framework.
