Caribs with a number of cargoes and at least 10 fixtures at W/S 400 for 70,000-ton cargo liftings. – In the Med. and on Aframaxes, Repsol for 80,000 tons of cargo, loading December 1 Libya, discharging Spain, has fixed M/T «Kamari» at W/S 375. – In the Cont., Chevtex has fixed M/T «Scorpius» for 80,000 tons of cargo, loading December 3 Denmark, discharging UKC at USD 255. – In Caribs, Premcor has fixed M/T «Genmar Ajax» for 70,000 tons of cargo, loading December 5, discharging USAC at W/S 400. – In W. Africa, Petrogal has fixed M/T «Astro Polaris» for 130,000 tons of cargo, loading December 21, discharging Portugal, at W/S 380. – In Arabian Gulf, Formosa for 240,000 tons of cargo, loading December 27, discharging Taiwan, has fixed M/T «Titan Neptune» at W/S 305. DRY CARGO Capers strong, with Pan Ocean having fixed M/V «Aquabella,» 161,010 dwt, built 1995, delivery December 1-2 Japan for an Australian round-trip at USD 86,000 daily. – The picture is similar for Panamaxes in both areas. – In Far East, Cargill has fixed M/V «Stefania l,» 73,288 dwt, built 2000, delivery Japan end-November, redelivery Far East, at USD 45,000 daily. – In the Atlantic, Wilmar has fixed M/V «Maritsa NP,» 68,377 dwt, built 1988, delivery US Gulf end-November, redelivery China, at USD 40,000 daily and with USD 700,000 ballast bonus. – On smaller sizes, IVS has fixed M/V «Algoa Bay,» 26,901 dwt, built 1978, delivery S. Africa December 5-10, redelivery US Gulf, option UKC-Med. at USD 21,000 daily.
