Myconos planning to hold referendum on casino
The municipal authorities of Myconos are collecting signatures to conduct a referendum on the popular Cycladic resort island against the creation of a casino.
Following a proposal by Mayor Constantinos Koukas, the town council unequivocally decided to launch the process in a bid to counter the government’s decision for the immediate licensing and operation of casino enterprises on the island.
