Greek exports to US, China and Saudi Arabia soar this year
Greek exports to non-European Union states showed a considerable increase over the first nine months of the year, especially those heading to the US, China and Saudi Arabia.
There was also a significant rise in exports of industrial products, which saw their share of all Greek exports increase to 43.1 percent, according to figures released on Tuesday by the Panhellenic Exporters Association.
Exports to the US were up 12.3 percent year-on-year to 866.6 million euros, those to the Far East (with main destinations being Singapore and China) by 54.4 percent to 1.21 billion euros, and those to Saudi Arabia by 52.4 percent to 513.6 million.
