Sleepy Athens stock market down 0.64 pct
With the lack of foreign investors weighing heavily on the economy, the Athens stocks exchange fell 0.64 percent to 572.43 points on Tuesday and recorded 2016’s second to lowest turnover, at 17.34 million euros.
Bank stocks remained the weakest link, with Alpha sliding 3.51 percent to 1.65 euros.
Piraeus Bank slumped 1.52 percent drop and Eurobank was down 1.38 percent.
However, National Bank rose 0.54 percent to 0.1870 euros a share.
Folli Follie gave up 2.03 percent and Coca-Cola HBC closed at 19.79 euros, down 1.44 percent.
