Industrialists ask gov’t to take ownership of bailout program
The head of Greece’s industrialists, Theodore Fessas, told a general meeting of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) on Tuesday that the government ought to take ownership of the bailout program and immediately apply the measures agreed with its creditors.
"Those who are responsible for the country’s future on a European and a national level must do the right things and do them now," Fessas told the meeting.
He set out three main objectives: beating tax evasion, the rationalization of tax system and an integrated plan to attract investment.
