Dijsselbloem: IMF will back plan to delay Greek debt relief to 2018
Eurogroup chief and Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem has expressed his belief that the International Monetary Fund will back eurozone plans to delay Greek debt relief to 2018, when the country completes its bailout program.
In a joint interview to seven European newspapers, including Britain’s Guardian and Germany’s Suddeutsche Zeitung, Dijsselbloem also said he admired Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras for winning a second election aftetr agreeing to a tough 89 billion euro bailout with the country’s lenders.
