Plaka attracts great interest from hotel developers

The part of central Athens to the south and west of Syntagma Square has drawn the attention of investors seeking to open new hotels in the Greek capital.

Kathimerini understands that three new units will be added to the area following the renovation of existing buildings. These are two buildings in Plaka, on Ermou Street, and another on Mitropoleos Street, all of which have received clearance to be used as hotels.

This is in addition to two more hotels that are already preparing to open their doors on Mitropoleos Street.
