Kammenos pledges tax incentives for businesses
Panos Kammenos has pledged tax incentives for businesses to invest and grow if his Independent Greeks party is part of a new coalition government following snap elections this month.
“In order to spur growth, we need to introduce low tax zones, we need to avoid putting tax on private education,” Kammenos said Wednesday.
“We must provide tax incentives so as to aid businesses and restart the economy,” the former coalition partner said.
However, recent opinion polls suggest that the nationalist populist party won’t reach the 3 percent threshold for winning seats in Parliament.
