NBG outperforms as Greek bourse edges up
Greek stocks finished the week on something of a high on Friday as the Athens Stock Exchange general index rose 1.08 percent, closing at 633.81 points.
Over the course of the week, the bourse was down 0.24 percent.
Despite Friday’s rise, turnover was down again.
It fell 7.84 percent to 20.10 million euros.
National Bank was the outperformer of the day as its share price increased by 16.26 percent.
There was also a 4.27 percent rise for Motor Oil and 3.12 increase for Hellenic Petroleum.
On the flipside, Grivalia Properties fell by 2.38 percent and Jumbo decreased by 2.27 percent.
