SEV warns pre-poll talk could undermine bailout implementation
Political parties’ pre-election statements could cause a storm of negative developments for implementation of the bailout, according to a weekly bulletin by the Greek Enterprise Association (SEV).
The bulletin stressed that whatever government comes to power must fully back the new deal as this is the last chance for the economy to recover, stating that the only way Greece can leave the memorandum behind is by fully applying it.
SEV proposes using a new, flexible and semi-independent administrative structure to coordinate reform measures. It urges the caretaker government to stay on track with deliverables so as not to delay the disbursement of financial aid.
