Surge in demand for vehicle fuel fully covered
Demand for gasoline and diesel fuel was up 30-40 percent on Tuesday compared with a normal day, but it was covered without any problems.
On the other hand, sales of industrial fuel by export companies to the transport and construction sectors were close to zero, indicating the state that the country’s production domain has entered just two days since the imposition of capital controls.
The market expects demand for vehicle fuel to drop in the next few days as tanks are now full and the roads will likely be quieter before the referendum scheduled for this Sunday.
