Schaeuble says Greece, creditors ‘even further apart’
German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble warned on Thursday that prospects of a deal between Greece and its EU-IMF creditors were souring, as eurozone ministers met for a fourth round of talks in a week.
“The Greeks have rather made steps backward. Positions are even further apart rather than narrowing,” the influential and hardline minister said as he arrived for talks in Brussels.
