Greece last in wooing enterprises
Greece ranks last among 14 European countries in attracting new enterprises, according to an Austrian survey.
Germany tops the list of countries in wooing entrepreneurship, followed by Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Austria.
The survey conducted for the Austrian Economy Ministry also found that what matters most for investors is not labor costs and taxes, but energy networks and the well-trained and skilled labor force.
This comes just a few weeks after the insistence of Greece?s official creditors for the minimum wage to go down by 22 percent in order for the country to regain its competitiveness.
