TAIPED signs Pylos Marina concession deal

TAIPED signs Pylos Marina concession deal

A 40-year concession contract to develop Pylos Marina worth at least 1.5 million euros was signed on Tuesday by the state and the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (TAIPED) on one side, and Pylos Marina SA, the preferred bidder, on the other.

Pylos Marina is a special-purpose company set up by D Marinas Hellas SA and TEMES SA, which hold a 70% and 30% share in it respectively. The development plan foresees an upgrade of existing infrastructure to provide a marina with high-grade yachting services.

Once completed, the marina in the southwest of Greece will provide 130 berths for yachts ranging from 8 to 30 meters in length, areas for recreation and other commercial services, and parking and ship repair areas.
