Nexans threatens to halt Greece-Cyprus power grid cable project over regulatory delays

In a letter to Greece’s Independent Power Transmission Operator, French cable company Nexans has threatened to stop laying the cable that will link Greece’s and Cyprus’ power grids on Monday, September 2, if some regulatory issues are not resolved by Friday.

Nexans holds Cyprus’ Energy Regulatory Authority responsible for the delays.
