Finance minister supports merger of Attica and Pancreta banks

Economy and Finance Minister Kostis Hatzidakis, speaking to the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs in Parliament about the upcoming merger of Attica and Pancreta banks, emphasized that agreement could not have come at a better time, for Attica itself and for the economy.
Hatzidakis stressed that the agreement must be supported in order to create a fifth pillar in the credit system.
