Construction magnate Babis Vovos dead at 91

The well-known construction entrepreneur Charalambos (Babis) Vovos passed away last Saturday, July 13th, at the age of 91.

The news was confirmed on Sunday by the entrepreneur’s family in a brief announcement to Kathimerini.

Vovos founded the company Babis Vovos – International Technical in 1974.

The company constructed dozens of buildings during its 32 years of activity, including some of the most well-known and modern buildings in Athens, such as Atrina, Agora, Polis, Delfi Corner, Atrium and Monumental Plaza.
