Nicosia seeks EU support for rural demographic regeneration

Nicosia is seeking support from the European Union in an effort to bring about the demographic regeneration of its rural areas.
The initiative was announced in a statement by the republic’s minister for agriculture Maria Panayiotou, who was in Brussels, where she was attending a meeting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council of the EU on Monday.
