Theodorikakos lays out development policy goals
New Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos assumed his role on Friday following the government reshuffle, outlining his policy priorities.
Theodorikakos emphasized two main goals for the Ministry of Development.
The first is tackling high prices and eliminating profiteering and the second goal involves policies on trade, industrial development, research, innovation and attracting investments.
“We aim to enhance Greece’s productivity model, foster sustainable growth, and increase citizens’ incomes,” stressed Theodorikakos.
He further highlighted that ministry policies are aimed at achieving the government’s goal of raising the average Greek salary to €1,500 by the end of its term.
