Piraeus Bank unveils new logo

Piraeus Bank has unveiled a new logo as part of a wider change in its corporate and visual identity.

The bank said that the new logo, which comprises three lines, is an evolution of the previous design and signals the start of a new era for the lender as it returns to the private sector after the recent divestment of the state from it.

In the new design, the direction of the logo’s familiar three lines has been reversed.

“The three emblematic lines of Piraeus now point decisively forward, embodying the basic principles of the bank: responsibility, merit and transparency,” a statement from the bank said.

Other changes include dropping the word “bank” from the lender’s name, which now appears in English only.

The new design’s color palette is dominated by yellow and gray, with the bank’s name written in deep green.

As part of the overhaul, the bank’s online platform, Winbank, will be rebranded to Piraeus E-banking on June 4. The relevant app will update automatically on users’ devices.
