Authorities have list of over 50,000 illegal streamers

One of the largest police operations against pirates of illegal streaming, not only by Greek but also by the European standards, was carried out a few days ago by authorities in Patra, dismantling a network with a presence in Athens, Viotia, Salamina and Patra.
During this particular operation, in which more than 20 Patra police officers participated, at least four people were arrested, plus large sums of money, 65,000 movies, equipment and a list of over 6,500 customers were seized.
The latter join a long list of 50,000 people across the country with access to pirated audiovisual content that the authorities have identified in just one year.
