Eleven codes pre-filled in tax returns
Eleven codes of the basic tax declaration form E1 will be pre-filled this year for 1 million salary workers and pensioners without income from other sources of real estate or securities, so that the declaration is ready for submission. In essence, the above will not need to fill in anything themselves unless there is a change that the tax office is not aware of.
Those employees and pensioners will soon receive a message from the tax administration, in which it will be stated that their declaration codes have been pre-filled. It will be emphasized that they have the possibility of changes until June 30 (deadline for submission of declarations). The declarations of those who receive the message but do not proceed with changes will be considered submitted on June 30 and they can simply wait for the settlement note.
The codes that will be pre-filled are income from salaries and pensions, interest on deposits, taxes withheld for housing and vehicles, private school fees, loan and credit card repayment expenses, independently taxable or tax-exempt income, consumption expenditure incurred, as well as transactions with electronic means of payment which reduce the tax.
