Aegean Airlines to start using its flights simulators this year

In December, the consortium comprising Aegean Airlines and Canada’s CAE is expected to put into operation the first flight simulator and crew training center at Athens’ Eleftherios Venizelos Airport.

This is an investment, totaling 36 million euros, which will allow Aegean pilots and cabin crew to train in Greece, while it aims to attract pilots and cabin crew from third-party companies.

The Aegean-CAE training center, which will be part of the new technical base of the Greek airline at Athens International Airport, will have a total area of 85,000 square meters. In the first stage of development, the training center will have four flight simulators.
