Short-term rental rates consolidated in Athens

The significantly higher prices per night for short-term rentals are being consolidated in the popular districts of Athens, where a large number of such accommodations operate.
At the same time, booking data for the coming months show an overall downward trend, especially as of December.
Data that research company AirDNA collected for Kathimerini show that in the tourist triangle of Plaka, Monastiraki and Acropolis in November, the average price per night stands at 106 euros, up 22% compared to 2019, but also up 8% compared to last year.
For December the price is €111, up 4% from 2019, but 4% down on last year.
