Greek shipowners criticize emissions trading scheme for sector

The Union of Greek Shipowners has come out against EU proposals setting new environmental standards for the shipping industry, especially its emissions trading scheme, calling it ‘a regional market-centric measure incompatible with the global nature of transport and shipping’s modus operandi.’
