Modernizing passenger shipping fleet requires €3 billion

Greek passenger shipping firms will need to invest €3 billion by the end of the decade to renew their fleet, which is aging and being overused, experts say. Shippers will also have to build more environmentally friendly ships. Some money will be available through the EU, but most will be private funds.
