Ryoji Ikeda | Athens | To February 17
Paris-based Japanese sound artist Ryoji Ikeda presents “data.flux [12 XGA Version]” at the Onassis Cultural Center. In this new installation, which is part of his “datamatics” series, Ikeda challenges the limits of human perception and digital technology with a torrent of digits and data, a rift in the viewer's time and space. Visiting times for the installation in the main exhibition hall are Mondays to Fridays from 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 10 p.m. Monday’s inauguration starts at 8 p.m.
