Mario Biondi | Athens | December 31
Italian soul and jazz singer Mario Biondi, nicknamed “the new Barry White” due to his distinct voice, has been invited to perform a holiday show at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center on Monday, December 31. The program will include tracks from his older studio recordings, but also from the artist's latest album, “Brasil,” which blends jazz, soul and pop elements with well-known Brazilian tunes, as well as songs from his holiday-inspired album “Mario Christmas.” Doors at the SNFCC’s Stavros Niarchos Hall open at 10.15 p.m. and admission is free of charge with pre-registration at www.snfcc.org. The venue provides free transportation from and to Syntagma Square and the Syngrou-Fix metro station.
