Taverna Birthday | Athens | August 28 & 29

A landmark of the Athenian taverna scene, Klimataria celebrates its 90th anniversary on August 28 and 29 with food, wine and music, the latter provided by select artists who have graced the eatery's small stage over the years. Klimataria has wined and dined generations of Greeks and foreign visitors, from politicians and dignitaries to tourists and workers in the Omonia area. The festivities start at 8.30 p.m. on both nights.
