Art and Democracy | Athens | December 7-9
The Hellenic Parliament Foundation and the Acropolis Museum have organized an interdisciplinary conference titled “Art and Democracy,” taking place at the museum from Thursday, December 7, to Saturday, December 9, with free admission. The conference aims to examine the topic through the 19th and 20th centuries, and brings together historians, political scientists, philosophers and literary analysts, among others, who will analyze issues such as freedom of expression, how art expresses political developments and shifting views, and other related themes. Proceedings start daily at 10 a.m.
