Chinese Inventions | Athens | To April 29
The Herakleidon Museum pays tribute to the inquisitive spirit of the ancient Chinese that led them to the invention of printing, bookbinding, the compass and the seismograph, among other fascinating achievements, with the exhibition “Ancient Chinese Science and Technology,” running through April 29 at both its venues in the downtown Thiseio district. The show comprises 90 objects from the fields of astronomy, navigation, weaving and embroidery, and papermaking and printing. Opening hours are Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
