More than 100 singers and musicians on both traditional and conventional instruments will pay tribute to the music of Crete in a big concert on Wednesday, June 28, at the open-air Herod Atticus Theater, organized by the Greek Festival. “The Music of Crete” is a panorama of different genres of song and music that have developed on the island over the centuries, including a special section on songs sung by women, such as lullabies and wedding ballads. The show starts at 9 p.m. and tickets cost 12-35 euros.
