The Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra and acclaimed pianist Vassilis Varvaresos join forces at the open-air Herod Atticus Theater on Saturday, June 17, to perform Yiannis Konstantinidis’s Dodecanese Suite No 1, Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No 2 in C minor, Op 18, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No 5 in E minor, Op 64. The concert begins at 9 p.m. and tickets, which cost 12-35 euros, can be purchased online at www.greekfestival.gr.
